Learners of your academy can engage with each other within community spaces visibile to them.

Navigating Spaces

Learners can navigate to multiple spaces and sections from the left sidebar in community. From the sidebar they can -

• Open the sections to view spaces inside by clicking the > button next to section name
• Click on a space to directly jump into a conversation within that space
• There are two types of spaces, where learners can-
  • Read, write, and reply to messages (Everyone has the permission to send messages)
  • Only read messages (Only staff has the permission to send messages)

Using Spaces

From the message panel, learners can -

• Write, read, and react to messages.
• Attach any document or media from their device by clicking on the 🔗 button.
• Edit or delete their messages by clicking on the ··· button at the far right of the message.
• Mention a learner, content, or session on Lyearn by pressing @.

Moderating Spaces

Only staff members with the corresponding role permissions can pin and hide a message within a space by clicking on the ··· button at the far right of the message.

Pinned Messages

Pinned messages are a great way to highlight existing messages in a conversation.
