You can set up a community on your academy by using the Community setup on the Manage end.

  1. From the manage end, go to the Settings page.
  2. Click on the Community card.

Building a community

The community is organized into spaces and sections.

→ Spaces are dedicated places for conversation and sharing content.

→ Sections help you group spaces on similar key topics. They also serve as visual dividers for spaces across different topics.

Creating a space

Click on the New Space button from the sidebar or + button next to a section name to create a space.

Name & emoji

Write the name for your space and click on the # button to set an emoji for your space to give it a unique identity.

Permission to send messages

Choose from the "Who can send messages?" settings to set messaging options within the space. Select Everyone to allow all learners in your academy to send messages. Select Only Staff to restrict the space to staff members.

Visibility

Set whom you want the space to be made visible to. You can either set it to All learners or keep it Restricted to a group.
